V!olence cla!med another v!ctim in Veracruz. Irma Hernández Cruz, a retired teacher and taxi driver , was found de@d after being kidnapped by an @rmed group in the municipality of Álamo Temapache. According to
Governor Rocío Nahle, the 62-year-old woman d!ed of a heart attack brought on by the extreme level of v!olence she was subjected to.
“ The teacher was assaulted. Forensic experts are already telling us that it appears that she suffered a heart @tta@ck as a result of the violence, ” the president revealed in an interview with XEU Noticias . The official explained that the investigation is being handled by the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), while Army personnel located the property where Irma was found.
Before her de@th, the teacher was forced to record a video under threat . In the clip, which circulated on social media, Irma is seen kneeling, surrounded by @rmed and ho*ded men. Visibly agitated, she asks her colleagues to pay fees to a cr!m!nal group.
“ Fellow taxi drivers, you don’t mess around with the Veracruz m@fi@. Pay your dues, as you should, with them (…) or you’ll end up like me ,” he can be heard saying.
